HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
If you're looking to get your own WonkyDonk piece, there are a few thing to consider.

THE 'THING'
Firstly, what is it you're after? Is it a repeat of an existing design you've seen me make before? Or is it a new design, either something you've seen elsewhere or perhaps just have a space/function in mind and are looking for something new to be created?

THE SIZE
Secondly, what size are we looking at? Height, width, depth? Is there a certain space that it needs to fit in, or maybe a certain thing that needs to fit in it? Consider things like skirting boards, radiator pipes, and any other obstacles that may need to be taken into account.

THE FINISH
Finally, choose your wax colour from the options below. Alternatively, if you've got existing woodwork in the room that you'd like to match the new piece to, let me know how it was finished (brands, oils etc) and we can work with that.
Don't forget, each piece of wood will take the wax colour in a slightly different way depending on what it's been treated with previously.

THEN WHAT?
I'll review your request, and will be in touch to chat it through with you. If you're after a totally new design and I feel there's someone else better suited to the brief, (I've got lots of other local independent business contacts) I'll let you know.

Once we've confirmed the details, I'll send you a quote and an estimated completion date. This can be anywhere between 3-6 weeks depending on the type of product and how quickly i can get my hands on the base stock. Sometimes, it may be quicker if I've already got the stock in the workshop.

If you're happy with the quote and the estimated dates, I'll get started! With larger items, I'll provide you with updates on the progress, and may check in with you face to face (depending on location).
Depending on the size of the item, an upfront deposit may be required, but generally, no payment is taken until you've seen the final piece and are happy with it.
Once it's done, check out your completed item! If it meets your expectations - great, it's yours. And you'll also get a little pot of the same colour wax in case of any mishaps in future.

Not as you thought it would be? No worries, it just goes up for general sale, and we can discuss if you'd like a different option or not.
